2.        Naga: Land and people in Archival Mirror1st December 2024On the occasion of Hornbill Festival, an joint exhibition with Nagaland State Archives entitled ‘Naga- Land & People in Archival Miror’ was organized at Naga Kisama Heritage Village, Kohima Nagaland which was inaugurated by Shri K. Konngam Konayak, Hon’ble Advisor, Art & Culture, Govt. of Nagaland on 1st December, 2024.
3.        सुशासन और अभिलेख1 October, 2024The National Archives of India has organized an exhibition entitled “सुशासन और अभिलेख”as part of special campaign 4.0 for Swachta. The exhibition was inaugurated by Hon’ble HCM Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat on 1st October 2024 at NAI.
4.        भारतीय शिक्षा और अभिलेख28 June, 2024On the occasion of ongoing “Azadi Ka Amrit Kal” the National Archives of India has organized an exhibition  entitled “Bhartiya Siksha Aur Abhilekh” on 28th June 2024 at Dr. Ambedkar International Centre, Janpath, New Delhi.
5.        Subhash Abhinandan23 January, 2024On the occasion of Prakram Divas an exhibition entitled ‘Life of Netaji’ has been organized which was inaugurated by Hon’ble Prime Minister of India on 23 January, 2024 at Lal Quila, New Delhi.
6.        स्वतंत्रता के स्वर: प्रतिबंधित साहित्य की झलकियाँ5 August, 2023

An exhibition entitled “Swatantrata Ke Swar” was mounted in Pragati Maidan on the occasion of Festival of Libraries which was inaugurated by honorable President of India Smt. Droupadi Murmu on 5 August 2023.

 

7.        हमारी भाषा हमारी विरासत9 June, 2023On the occasion of International Archives Day an exhibition entitled हमारी भाषा हमारी विरासत has been organized which was inaugurated by Ms. Meenakshi Lekhi, Hon’ble Minister of State for Culture and External Affairs.
8.        Women and Nation Building: 1857 to Republic Being mounted on 11th March 2023Honorable Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs & Culture Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal has inaugurated the exhibition on 11th March 2023.
9.        Saga of Freedom: Known & Lesser-known Struggle18-19 December 2022

National Archives of India has organized an exhibition entitled ‘Saga of Freedom: Known & Lesser-known Struggle’ on the occasion of Indian Historical Records   Committee session at Lucknow on the 18-19 December 2022.

 

10.     Saga of Freedom: Known & Lesser-known Struggle12th August 2022National Archives of India also organized an exhibition - ‘Saga of Freedom: Known & Lesser-known Struggle’. This exhibition ware based on original government documents, cartographic records, newspapers, private papers, contemporary photographs and proscribed literature available in the National Archives of India. This exhibition was organized as part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and it’s made a great impact on the society. Honorable Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs & Culture Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal has inaugurated the exhibition, on  12th August 2022
11.     Instruments of Accession & Merger: The Journey of Integration11th March 2022

As part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav National Archives of India has organized an archival exhibition entitled ‘Instruments of Accession & Merger: The Journey of Integration’. Smt. Meenakshi Lekhi, Instruments of Accession & Merger: The Journey of Integration Minister of State for External Affair and Culture has inaugurated the exhibition, on  11March 2022.

 

12.     Quit India Movement08 August 2021

As part of the Azadi ka AmritMahotsav an exhibition on Quit India Movement was inaugurated on 08 August 2021 by Hon’ble Minister of Culture & Tourism and Development of North-East Region, Shri Gangapuram Kishan Reddy.

 

13.     Mahatma Gandhi & the Non Cooperation Movement11th March 2021On the occasion of 131st Foundation Day of National Archives of India an exhibition was inaugurated on 11 March 2021 by Hon’ble Minister of State (Independent charge) for Culture & Tourism Shri Prahlad Singh Patel

Glimpses on the making of

the Constitution (Display)

1 October 2020National Archives of India celebrated its 70th Years of implementation of Indian Constitution. A display on ‘Glimpses on the making of the Constitution’ was organized along with the installation of Preamble Wall of the Constitution in the premises of the Office. It was inaugurated by Shri Chandan Sinha, Director General of Archives on 1st October 2020

15 February 2020National Archives of India organized a    
display on ‘Glimpse of Cartography’ which was inaugurated by Sh. Chandan Sinha, Director General of Archives.
16.     Jallianwalla Bagh11 March 2020 – till dateNational Archives of India celebrated its 130th Foundation day on 11 March 2020. An exhibition on ‘Jallianwalla Bagh’ to commemorate the 100th  anniversary of the tragedy was inaugurated by Sh. Chandan Sinha, Director General of Archives in the presence of Sh. Padma Lochan Sahu, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Culture.
17.     129th Foundation Day – Kumbh11 March – 9 May 2019On the occasion of 129th Foundation Day of National Archives of India this exhibition was organised. It was inaugurated by Shri Arun Goel, Secretary, Culture on 11 March 2019. It would remain open for public till 9 May 2019.
18.     KumbhJanuary 2019This exhibition was organised at Allahabad Museum during the Kumbh Mela in January 2019
19.     Pratibandhit Sahitya Main Swatantrata Sangram10 August- 31 October 2018On the 76th Anniversary of Quit India Movement, National Archives of India organised this exhibition. Hon’ble Minister of Culture, Dr. Mahesh Sharma inaugurated this exhibition.

This exhibition was organised during the 62nd Session of IHRC at Hyderabad.

 

21.     Emigration of Indians to SurinameJune 2018This joint exhibition was organized at Paramaribo, Suriname. It was inaugurated by His Excellency Mr. M. Noresalim MBA Minister, Ministry of Home Affairs, and Government of Suriname in the premises of the National Archives of Suriname.
22.     Moroccan Calligraphy12-22 March 2018

Anexhibition on Moroccan Calligraphy was organised by National Archives of India in joint collaboration with Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) from 12-22 March 2018 at New Delhi.  This exhibition was also mounted at National Archives of India, Regional Office, Bhopal 2-9 April 2018 and NAI, Records Centre, Jaipur from 17-24 April 2018.

 

23.     India@70: Jammu & Kashmir Saga11 January- 23 February 2018An exhibition entitled India@70: Jammu & Kashmir Saga was organised by National Archives of India. This exhibition was inaugurated by Hon’ble Minister of Culture, Dr. Mahesh Sharma.
24.     Quit India movement and Indian National Army(1942-2017)9 August – 1 September 2017

On the occasion of 75th Anniversary of Quit India movement and Indian National Army this exhibition was rganized at National Archives of India Museum on 9 August 2017.This exhibition was inaugurated by Hon’ble Culture Minister,

Dr. Mahesh Sharma.

 It was also mounted at National Archives of India, Regional Office, Bhopal from 2 October –

3 November 2017and State Museum, Guwahati from 6-31 January 2018. Later, it is permanently shifted at NAI, Records Centre, Jaipur.

 

25.     Sabarmati Shatabadi- Ek  Karyanjali29 June 2017This exhibition was inaugurated by Hon’ble Prime Minister at Ahmedabad. It was rganized on the occasion of centenary celebrations of Sabarmati Ashram.
26.     Swachhagraha Bapu ko Karyanjali10 April -10 May 2017On the occasion of centenary celebration of Champaran Satyagraha, this  digital exhibition was inaugurated by Hob’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Exhibition on the same theme was also mounted at Zillah School and Bapudham Railway Station Motihari on 13th and 15th April respectively, and another in Bettiah on April 22, 2017.
27.     Revolutionary Patriots (1905-1947)11 March 2017On the 127th foundation day of National Archives of India,  this exhibition was inaugurated by Shri N.K.Sinha, Secretary, Ministry of Culture.
28.     Uniting India: Sardar Patel31 October 2016On the occasion of the 141 birth anniversary of Sardar Patel, a digital exhibition entitled Uniting India: Sardar Patel was organized in the premises of National Science Centre. This exhibition was inaugurated by Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi on        31 October 2016. Shri Rajnath Singh, Hon’ble Minister of Home Affairs was the guest of honour and Dr. Mahesh Sharma, Hon’ble Minister of Culture, Shri N.K.Sinha, Secretary Culture, Shri G.Parthasrthy, Chairman, Advisory Committee on Sardar Patel also graces the occasion. The inauguration function was attended by many luminaries, administrators, academicians and Padma Awardees.
29.     Independent India: A Forward March7 March- 8 April 2016An exhibition entitled Independent India: A Forward March was organized on the occasion of the finale of 125th Anniversary Celebrations of National Archives of India at Archives Museum. This exhibition was inaugurated by Shri N.K.Sinha, Secretary (Culture) on 7 March 2016.
30.     Display of declassified files on Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose23 January-23 February 2016

On the occasion of 119 birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, the Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi released the 100 declassified files on Netaji in a function held at National Archives of India on 23 January 2016. The Hon’ble Minister of Culture, Dr. Mahesh Sharma, Secretary Culture, Shri Narendra Kumar Sinha and other senior officers of the Ministry attended the function. 15 members from the family of Netaji were also invited on the occasion.

National Archives of India organized a thematic display of these original files relating to various aspects of Netaji’s life.

31.     Mohan to Mahatma2 October 2015This exhibition was inaugurated by Dr. Mahesh Sharma, Hon’ble Minister of Culture on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti on 2 October 2015 in the premises of Gandhi Smriti and Darshan Samiti, New Delhi.
32.     Treasures of National Archives of India.11 March – 11 April 2015The exhibition was organized on the occasion of the 125th Foundation Day of National Archives and was inaugurated by Ms Sreya Guha, J.S. (Culture)
33.     Bapu-Pha5December 2014 -5 January 2015An exhibition entitled Bapu-Pha was organized at Bangkok in collaboration with Embassy of India in Thailand.
34.     Mandela-Gandhi

July-August 2014

 

This exhibition was organized during the Festival of India in South Africa. The exhibition on Mandela-Gandhi was an interactive exhibition wherein archival material on Gandhiji, available in National Archives of India, was presented with the help of latest display technology.

11March-11 April 2014On the occasion of 124th Foundation Day of National Archives of India, two exhibitions entitled “Ghadar Party” and “1913-The Historic Transvaal March” were organized. The exhibition was inaugurated by Shri K.K.Mittal, Additional Secretary in presence of Shri V Srinivas, Joint Secretary (Culture) and Director General of National Archives of India and other distinguished guests on 11th March 2014 at Archives Museum, National Archives of India, New Delhi.
36.     Ghadar Party6-8 March 2014An exhibition on the occasion of Centenary Celebration of the Ghadar Party was organized at Chandigarh from 6-8 March 2014 on the sidelines of an International Seminar rganized by Indian Council of Historical Research. Shri Rajmani, Assistant Director of Archives was deputed to mount the said exhibition. The exhibition was inaugurated by Professor Arun K Grover, Vice-Chancellor, Punjab University in the presence of other dignitaries and participants of the seminar.
37.     Ghadar Party7-9February 2014An exhibition on the occasion of Centenary Celebration of the Ghadar Party was organized at Kolkata from 7-9 February 2014 on the sidelines of the National Seminar rganized by Indian Council of Historical Research. Shri Rajmani, Assistant Director of Archives was deputed to mount the said exhibition. Shri M.K.Narayanan, Governor, West Bengal visited the exhibition. Professor Arun Bandopadhyay, Department of History, University of Calcutta and Professor Surjanjan Das, Vice-Chancellor, Calcutta University alongwith other dignitaries and participants of the seminar were present during the inauguration. A set of digital prints of the exhibition has been gifted to Professor Suranjan Das, Vice-Chancellor, Calcutta University who has assured that the exhibition would be taken History department of various Colleges at Calcutta.
38.     The Selective MSS From Archives19 December 2013The exhibition entitled “The Selective MSS from Archives” was inaugurated by Shri Nitish Kumar, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Bihar on 19th December, 2013 at Bihar State Archives, Patna on the occasion of 61st session of Indian Historical Records Committee. Shri Rajmani, Assistant Director of Archives was deputed to mount the exhibition at the venue and explain the content to the VVIP’s.

1913-The Historic Transvaal March

 

30 November, 2013This exhibition was organized on the occasion of Centenary Celebration of the Historic Transvaal March by Gandhiji at South Africa in 1913.Shri Rajmani ADA(Pub) was deputed to mount the exhibition in Volkrust, South Africa. The exhibition was inaugurated by Ms. Ila Gandhi, Gandhi Development Trust in presence of Shri Ravindra Singh, Secretary (Culture), Shri Virendra Gupta, Indian High Commissioner to South Africa, Ms. MNS Manana, MEC for Culture, Sports & Recreation in Mpumalanga, Shri David Gengan, Program Director and Cllr V Malatsi, Mayor of dr. Pixley Seme LM on 30th November, 2013 at Volksrust Prison, South Africa.
40.     Display of Facsimile Copies of Oriented Records2-17 May 2013This exhibition was organized in the collaboration with Noor International Microfilm Centre, Iran Culture House, New Delhi.

This exhibition was organized on the occasion of 9th World Hindi conference at Johannesburg. This exhibition was also displayed at National Archives of India, New Delhi.
52.     Beyond The Frame: India in Britain 1858-1950August- September 2012The sets of the exhibits have been sent on 2 July 2012 to all Record Centers and Regional office to be mounted before September 2012 as per MOU with the British Library, London. The exhibition has already been mounted at Record Office, Bhopal on 17 August 2012 and being mounted at Record Centre, Bhuvneshwar from 27 August 2012. 
53.     Art work in the foyer of the Annexe building of National ArchivesAugust 2012The Art work based on the paintings of Nandlal Bose in our Constitution has been installed in foyer of Annexe under the supervision of Craft Museum, New Delhi.
54.     Archival Awareness Posters23 July 2012A display of posters inculcating the awareness about the importance of preservation and techniques of archival heritage was permanently displayed in the open lawn of the department during the visit of Hon’ble Minister of Culture.

A permanent display of this exhibition was also arranged at Jayaprakash Nagar, Ballia and Mahila Charkha Samiti, Patna as a part of the birth centenary celebrations of Jayaprakash Narayan.

95.     Muqam-i-Shahadat1998A set of the exhibits on Jallianwala Bagh episode was supplied to the Jallianwala Bagh National Memorial Trust for permanent display on the occasion of 50th year of India’s Independence.
