NAI officers were deputed abroad under CEP/MOU and also for attending conferences/ seminars/ trainings/ workshops, etc. The following foreign visits were undertaken by the officials of NAI between March 2022 to February 2023:
- A team of four officials (along with two experts from HCP Design) of NAI visited Netherlands, United Kingdom and France (from 16 March 2022 to 26 March 2022) to study their prominent archives/libraries in connection with the new proposed building of NAI under the Central Vista redevelopment work. This team was led by Shri Chandan Sinha, Director General, NAI.
- Shri Chandan Sinha, Director General, NAI participated in the Ninth Annual Conference of ICA held in Rome from 21 to 23 September, 2022.
- A four member team led by Shri Chandan Sinha, Director General, NAI visited London, UK from 09 January to 16 January, 2023 to review and assess the archival material available in High Commission of India, London. During this visit, the team also visited British Library and the National Archives of UK, London.
